Everyone deserves an education and an opportunity for a bright future. For children with a physical disability in Tanzania, the future holds little hope for a lifetime of purpose and opportunity. For those living in remote villages, medical care is unaffordable or unavailable and there are almost no primary schools that are equipped to care for children with disabilities. Faraja Primary School is the exception, bringing hope and education to children in Tanzania. As a residential school, the students and staff work together to achieve the goal to provide young people with physical disabilities with the education, health care, and life skills to achieve a lifetime of independence.
